All electric like its roadster siblings but with room to carry the kids and the dog, the Model X will offer two battery options. The first being the 60-kWh which is claimed to do up to 230 miles on one charge and the 85-kWh pack which can do up to 300 miles on a single charge. The design is definitely sleek and borrows from the roadster. To maximize travel distance smooth lines will be necessary. Would you give up your current SUV for the Tesla Model X?
Lamborghini Looks Into the SUV Market

When it comes to true luxury SUV’s the choices are pretty limited. Mercedes, Audi, Porsche, BMW, and Cadillac are the upper-end manufacturers that immediately come to mind. Well it seems Lamborghini has noticed that there is room in the luxury SUV segment and are seriously looking into what kind of impact they can make with an entry of their own.
2013 Acura ILX

Is Acura trying to bring back the 1.6EL in the form of the ILX? The ILX will probably take from it’s Honda Civic cousin as did the 1.6 in the 90′s, but the key is to remain an Acura. Lexus in the form of the IS, BMW has the 3 and 1-series, and Mercedes with the C-class have all tapped into the compact car category as the young professionals want to wear their badge of status as well. It is only natural for Acura to see if they are missing out. The engine line up includes the base 2.0-liter four banger which puts out 150hp and a 2.4-liter that will give you 201hp but is also 4-cylinder. Acura will definitely keep a close eye to the attention this concept garners at the Chicago Auto Show.

Recently CarandDriver.com had the pleasure of testing the 2012 Chevrolet Camero ZL1. At a base price of $56,295, you get 580hp of American muscle packed into a huge supercharged 6.2-liter LSA V-8 engine with a top speed of 180mph. Not to mention 20-inches of forged-aluminum for some fat rubber to keep those who are ready to test that top speed from running off the road. The interior still lacks some refinement but with all that power and speed it is doubtful that much time will be spent admiring the instruments.
