2013 Dodge Viper SRT
by admin on Apr.17, 2012, under Sports Cars
It has never been the prettiest sports car, but then again I don’t think Dodge was ever going for pretty when it came to their notorious muscle car. Now if you are talking about raw power and an undeniable presence on the streets, Dodge has definitely accomplished that in their Viper line. Heck there was even a show based on the car at one point in the 90′s. Well it’s back! Say hello to the 2013 version of the Dodge Viper. Although it is evident that some lines have been smoothed out there is no mistaking its lineage. The side scoops remain as do the general shape it is just a bit more refined if possible. The bubble shaped eyes as well as hood are gone. The front-end has a more aerodynamic look and now includes the trademark fangs in the grill. It will be interesting to see how the new look holds up to that of the Camaro.
Over 600 horses will come from the 8.4-liter V10 Corvette ZR1 engine which will max the car out at about 200 plus mile per hour. To add to its performance upgrades the Viper sheds a few pounds and gains some rubber as it will be fitted with wider tires. It is evident that handling was a concern for Dodge when developing the new Viper.
Who can’t wait to get their hands on one?
2013 Ford Escape Spied

Ford has totally redesigned the Escape for the 2013 model. Moving away from the box-shaped compact SUV that we all know, the new Escape displays more pronounced aerodynamic lines. Besides the lower sloping hood the front-end seems like it will get reshaped headlights and a smaller grill. Under all the coverings it is evident that the back has undergone a facelift too. Although the redesign was due one has to wonder if fuel economy played a role in the Escapes new design. Check out the gallery of the spy shots at Car & Driver.

Hyundai has been very busy lately. Over the past few years we have seen the in introductions of the Genesis, Equus, Azera, and the Veloster. Hyundai has also redesigned their Sonata, Elantra and now the Santa Fe. The new Santa-Fe sports a new more aggressive sleeker design as it gets ready for its upcoming unveiling. The first change you will notice is the new shaped grill. The new grill is wider and gets more angles to it as it takes on the hexagon. Even the eyes have more of a menacing stare. The new look should garner more attention as aesthetically the Santa Fe will appeal to many looking for a fresh looking cross-over but affordable as well.

How would you like to take the family on a road trip in comfort, style and efficiency? Well Tesla believes it has the answer in the Model X. All electric like its roadster siblings but with room to carry the kids and the dog, the Model X will offer two battery options. The first being the 60-kWh which is claimed to do up to 230 miles on one charge and the 85-kWh pack which can do up to 300 miles on a single charge. The design is definitely sleek and borrows from the roadster. To maximize travel distance smooth lines will be necessary. Would you give up your current SUV for the Tesla Model X?
